Hero Arts January 2025 Studio Blog Hop

This month’s kit is all about the love! I think the hearts are super versatile for anyone you’d like to send a little extra love too.

I used the Clear Stamp and Die set to create my own pattern paper. I lined them up on my glass mat and then picked them up with my acrylic block. I find this to be easier and faster than using a stamp positioner for this technique. I stamped in various colors alternating the pattern a little to the left or right as I moved down the panel. It’s a quick and easy way to create your own paper.

I used Cotton Candy, Azalea, and Raspberry Jam for my stamping. I used those same colors to create a halo effect on the stamped panel. I blended to the colors lightest to darkest leaving the center lighter to draw the eye to my focal point.

For the focal point I used the Love & Hearts Fancy Dies to create a smattering of hearts for my sentiment to sit on. I cut it out of White, Plum, and Azalea. With each die cut three full size hearts are cut out as the negative. I then used those to arrange around the die cut in a diagonal. I used two of the actual die cuts themselves to glue together slightly offset to create a shadow.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Unicorn White Pigment ink before heat embossing in white on Plum cardstock. I then used the coordinating die to trim it out. I popped it up over my hearts with some foam tape. I also added a bit of glitter to the die cuts and a few white pearls to finish it off.
