This month I decided to go with the card kit of the month. I couldn’t resist these cute little faces and all their adorable containers. I had a hard time choosing but I’m a dog person through and through the little puppy won out.
I chose to ink blend my background with some blues creating a lighter center and darker edges. Once I had my ink blending where I wanted it laid down the argyle stencil from the kit and blended the same colors over top to create a tone on tone look.
I ink blended a few greens to create a gradient and then used the other stencil in the kit, a more knit cable texture, to create another tone on tone. I then die cut the box and lid from the green. I then stamped my puppy dog and got out my copic markers.
I colored my puppy dog up and then added shading to my gift box too. The sentiment was stamped and then heat embossed in white. I matted the background with black and then popped it up with foam tape.
He is cute too cute popping out of his little box!
