How fun is this for Summer?! The kit is $34.99 but if you bought it all separately it’d be over $75. It’s such a good deal!
My sister loves flamingos so I created my card with her in mind.
I first stamped my flamingos as they are the focal point of my card. I needed them to be stamped and die cut in order to create my reflection scene.
I did some quick ink blending to create my sky and sea. I stamped the clouds from the set using white ink and then set out to create my reflection. I used the mirror stamping technique to do this. You’ll need a piece of acetate. I love Hero Arts acetate but you can use leftover packaging. You’ll stamp your image onto the acetate and then flip it over onto your cardstock and “stamp” with it. I started first with the legs and then with the solid bodies.
If you have any area that skip you can use a paintbrush to “paint” in any areas of ink that were missed. Once this was dry I stamped the water ripple from the kit in both my dark and light teal colors.
I added some shine with perfect pearls over the water and the clouds.
