Hero Arts Studio Release February 2025

This Month’s kits just scream Spring and there are no words to tell you how happy that makes me! Sun and flowers and colors yes please!! I used a few different kits for my project today and the freebie. Freebie, you say?

I combined the Fancy Dies of the Month with the sentiment dies from the Card Kit of the Month and those super cute freebies. Honestly, I’m thrilled with the way this came out. There are so many kinds of flowers included in the Fancy Dies kit that you could make endless bouquet combinations!

I chose to cut all my die cuts out of white because I like being able to customize the shading and colors but these would be great out of colored cardstock too. I think the bright colors just POP off that navy cardstock. I have no shame in telling you Blue is my boyfriend and I think this Nautical Cardstock is my all time favorite. I’d use it on everything if I could!

I tried to work in odd numbers when coloring my items so I could create a visual triangle and balance in my bouquet. I’m not a red girl so I wasn’t sure how it would look but I knew I wanted to use the lady bug. I found balance by making one of my bud flower stalks and the snail shell the same red. These were super easy to glue together. If the flower has any layers it’s only one and they come out super cute.

I kept the wings of the dragonfly and bee really light blues and pinks to give an iridescent look. I added clear shimmer to all the flowers but put actual glitter glue onto the wings to make them extra sparkly.
