My Monthly Hero November 2022 Blog Hop: Holiday Tags

There are so many ways to combine the different dies in this kit to create tags, cards, and more! I used it to create a card and tag set AND a holiday tag that’s reusable from it’s card.

These are the three projects I made with the main kit. I love them both so much. The stars are a bit more elegant where the scene is much more whimsical. This kit has something for everyone!  

I used Hero Nautical Cardstock as the base for both my card and tag. I added a bit more interest by adding shading around the edges with navy and black ink. The stars were cut out of white and colored with Spiced Mustard and Caramel ink but you could definitely just use colored cardstock. I heat embossed in gold for the sentiments and added some Gold Hero wax to the stars for shine. 

This card you’ve seen before, the post is here, but it’s my removeable tag. I cut my tag out of Nautical cardstock and then used masking paper to back it. Once adhered to my card base it allows the tag to be held in place but also removed for your recipient to use it and pass the handmade love forward 🙂  

These cuties aren’t included in the video but don’t worry they’ll have there own! I used two different types of custom coloring for my glitter stockings. Our puff embossing powder was perfect for their tops!
