This release is so fun! My card gave me a run for my money but I persevered and ended up with an unexpected beauty. Don’t you just love when that happens?

I used the Overlapping Geo Leaf Hot Foil plate with some gold foil for my background. I layered several colors of Pinkfresh Studio inks to create this gorgeous background. The coordinating stencil makes it so easy to add color quickly. It also makes it easy to switch it up if you change your mind. AND believe me I did. A few times lol.
Originally, I had planned on combining this with the beautiful flowers from the With Sympathy set but it looked too busy. I decided a bold sentiment would be perfect to let this hot foil background shine all on it’s own. I was fortunate enough to be the guest for Pinkfresh Craft Hour this past weekend. The host Jeff Lindberg has these fantastic alpha’s created and I knew they’d be perfect for this style.
I cut Jeff’s Alphas out of black and white and then paired it with a sub-sentiment from the With Sympathy. I adhered the background with foam tape for some fun dimension and then added the sentiments flush on top. While it isn’t what I initially set out to create I’m pretty happy with it just the same!
