Christmas In July: Get Dimensional Die Cuts Fast

I’m popping in with some Christmas in July inspiration. I know it seems a little crazy to be making snow cards in 80 degree weather but the sales make it worth it lol.

I went through all of my Honey Bee Stamps to try and fins products I think are timeless. I chose the Lovely Layers Poinsettia as my focal point because me and flowers go together no matter what time of year!

The trick to getting dimensional die cuts super fast is colored cardstock. Extra super duper bonus points if you can use up your scraps of colored cardstock to do your die cutting. I pulled out a lot of different colors but don’t fret if your colors aren’t perfect. You can use markers to shade them to match each other.

I used alcohol markers to add all my shading to my die cuts. Using colored cardstock makes this process much easier because it acts as your lightest color. Added bonus it’s not stark whit paper so it’s much easier to use dark colors for your shadows.

I used some scrap matte silver and silver glitter paper for my snowflakes. It adds so much shine. Speaking of shine I added Rock Candy Glitter with Glossy Accents to make it feel really festive and shiny of course!
