I’m excited to joining Alex Syberia Designs July release. I had such fun using the flowers included in this release. I wanted to play around with different ways to get a watercolor look with them . Before we get to the card, let’s talk giveaway.

I used the new Summer Flower and Peony Blossoms as focal points along with a previously released Charming Flora Background Press Plates.
I love the different way the colors lay on each card. Depending on how the water is applied gives a different and unique look to each card.
You can build depth of color by adding multiple layers of ink or by using another coloring medium over top of the watercolor. I prefer alcohol markers but colored pencils work as well.
If coloring isn’t your thing you can still get layered colors using stencils. Adding the water softens the look and makes it look more hand painted.
