Hero Arts Layering landscapes are always fun to play with! I love that the Classic Kit has coordinating dies so you can add lots of dimension.
The Premium Kit really called to me this month with those beautiful cherry blossoms. Plus I’m a sucker for pretty embellishments.
Since I immediately fell for the cherry blossoms I wanted them to be the star of show here. I stamped them in Intense Black ink and then colored them up with my OLO Markers. I cut them out with their coordinating dies.
To help the flowers really pop I chose the Nautical cardstock as a background. I used the cover plate to cut it out and then I popped it up over another piece of Nautical cardstock to add interest without distracting.
I colored the die cut edge of the flowers so they blend seamlessly into the background. The background seemed a bit big for the size of my bouquet so I added a bit of white around the coverplate panel to create a smaller frame.
